LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS

Lab-Grown Diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, created through advanced technological processes that reproduce the conditions under which natural diamonds form.

They share the same chemical composition, crystal structure and hardness as diamonds extracted from the earth. The main difference lies in their origin: they do not come from mining, but from a controlled environment.

Why AREPO chooses lab-grown diamonds

AREPO selects lab-grown diamonds because they make it possible to offer high quality, verifiable characteristics and a more accessible value-to-price ratio than natural diamonds of equal characteristics.

This choice does not stem from the idea of imitating natural diamonds, but from a more rational approach to contemporary jewellery: real beauty, clear data and greater transparency.

Certification

Where specified on the product page, the diamond is accompanied by a gemmological certificate issued by an independent laboratory, such as IGI or equivalent.

The certificate states the stone's main characteristics, including cut, carat weight, colour, clarity, proportions and identification number.

The 4Cs

The quality of a diamond is assessed through four main parameters:

Carat

Indicates the weight of the diamond. Quality being equal, a higher carat weight increases the value of the stone.

Colour

In white diamonds, colour is graded by the degree of absence of tint. Fancy colour diamonds also exist, such as yellow, champagne, pink and blue.

Clarity

Indicates the presence or absence of internal inclusions and surface characteristics. The higher the clarity, the rarer the stone.

Cut

One of the most important aspects. The cut influences the diamond's brilliance, proportions, light return and overall visual performance.

Classic and fancy colour diamonds

AREPO offers both white diamonds and fancy colour diamonds, selected according to the design of each piece and its final aesthetic balance.

Every stone is chosen considering proportion, visual performance, certification where present, and coherence with the design of the jewel.
